CONCEPT
CRYSTALINA follows the romance between two scientists : an astrophysics professor in search for extraterrestrial intelligence , and a neuroscientist who explores the realms of brain altered perceptions through electromagnetic pulses. Both are on the quest to prove an invisible dimension which connects it all , as their studies in completely different fields bring up the same answers.

Crystalina is a story that connects the scientific world to the psychological realm , exploring the the illusion of time/space as we perceive it, presenting the concept of parallel realities and multiple universes as understood in the “String Theory “.
With advances in quantum physics and space exploration , and images and data coming from telescopes travelling for over 20 years, the concept of parallel universes or multiverses has been a recurring subject in the media : several documentaries have been produced by BBC, Discovery and other television channels , as well as publications in newspapers and numerous books written about this fascinating topic: the parallel realities.
The discovery of planets similar to Earth and theoretically capable of harboring life sharpens the curiosity about this subject, which was once considered science fiction, but recent studies show we are close to a new reality. A couple of years ago, a group of scientists in Vienna revolutionized quantum physics performing an experiment that might be the principle of teleportation, bending the notions of space / time which we are familiar to.
In the complex field of the human mind, an American neuroscientist developed a technique of hypnosis that induces the patient in a trance where he can access his deepest records in memory, and some of the recorded sessions patients revealed experiences and contact with extraterrestrial signals.
